Our denomination is the result of the 1961 merger of the Unitarian and Universalist churches. In 2002 our national body, the CUC, became the main service provider and denominational centre for Unitarians and Universalists in Canada. It provides services to us in the areas of growth, leadership, religious education and socal action.
We are also in close contact with Ontario congregations through the Central Regional Networking Group of the CUC. And we often collaborate with neighbouring congregations on special projects like our social justice Bean Project and the teen sexuality education program, Our Whole Lives.
